I loved the history of this beautiful compound. Its a must see...
The museum is nice. People used to be able to explore the historic buildings and homes, but not anymore. The historic buildings now have government offices, stores, and residences inside. They pretty much changed it from a historical park to a functioning housing and business community, including a community school. The signs in front of the homes still display the historical significance of the building, but it's awkward to go inside when people are living there. More instruction on how to explore the park would have been helpful.
Great historical place with the still operating Theodore Roosevelt Indian Boarding School.
Loved the history and the atmosphere. I would recommend the museum and the restaurant they have on site. There is also a functional school so please be respectful.
Lots of cool old buildings from when it was a permanent calvary post. This is the old stables.
hidden labyrinth i missed from space! pleasantly surprised to stumble upon it. always a learning experience. thank you!
Get place to take kids and teach them about the history.
